The Mimosa Bay Board of Directors would like to remind all community members of the policy in place regarding political signage within the community. In accordance with the North Carolina Planned Community Act, Chapter 47F, Mimosa Bay Waterfront Community permits political signage with the following restrictions:
- Political signage can be placed at a residence up to 45 day prior to the election and must be removed within 7 days after the election. For the 2020 Presidential Election, signs must not be up prior to September 19, 2020and must be removed by November 10, 2020.
- Only ONE sign per household and the maximum allowed dimensions of the sign are 24” x 24”.
- Political flags and banners are not permitted.
- Political signage is not permitted in community common areas.
