This is in response to the inquiries on the pool closing.
Although the restrictions for gyms were changed, there were no changes to the pool restrictions in NC Executive Order 163 that were different then the NC Executive Order 141 that the original opening plan for the pool was based on.
The reason for minimizing hours and closing earlier than our regular season is due to cost and this is a continued unbudgeted expense for the community.
If the Executive Order restrictions change in Phase 3, the BOD will certainly revisit this. We understand the frustration when it comes to the limited access to community amenities, but the BOD has a responsibility to ensure compliance with government mandates for communal areas.
