Hampstead Pool & Spa was out this morning to take a look at the repairs needed for our pool. They’ve scheduled repair work for 23 May, but Diane is staying in contact in case they can get an opening to come out earlier. Once the repairs are made the pool still needs to be cleaned and re inspected so it is NOT likely the pool will open in time for Memorial Day. Yes, Diane is communicating with all cleaning and inspection personnel to squeeze everyone in as tightly as possible, but we have to be realistic in timelines. The good news, however, is we are hopeful to open the pool prior to the end of May, well before the kids get out of school.
Looking ahead, there is some shifting, probably due to all the ground water we’ve had, which will need to be addressed. The professionals at Hampstead Pool & Spa think we can get through the summer without having to address those issues. We will begin the process this summer of quoting that work to begin after the pool closes in the fall.
