During the Town Hall meeting there seem to be some confusion on the issue of entering the gate when the gates are closed with a code number. I hope the below information will help in clarifying this issue.
- Each homeowner is assigned a generated four digit directory code number in the call box when first entered into the system. This four digit code can be found in the call box under your name. This number will allow either yourself (if you happen to be in a vehicle that does not have a vehicle sticker), visitors, etc. to punch in that four digit code in the call box, and then press the CALL button. This eliminates having to scroll through the call box. Once you hit the Call button, it will call the designated number that you assigned with your name when you moved in the development. Once the phone rings, press 9 to open the gate. In this situation the # sign is not required to be entered.
- In the situation where a temporary assigned code is issued for dog sitters, nanny’s, etc. during a set requested time only, then the # sign is required to be entered before the four digit code. By doing this procedure, the gate immediately opens.
